As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.
Proverbs 27:17
Our Small groups are based on the foundational truths from Acts 2:42-47 which says:
"They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and signs were being performed through the apostles. Now all the believers were together and held all things in common. They sold their possessions and property and distributed the proceeds to all, as any had need. Every day they devoted themselves to meeting together in the temple, and broke bread from house to house. They ate their food with joyful and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. Every day the Lord added to their number those who were being saved."
This early church model worked following the day of Pentecost, and we embrace and believe it works in our modern day. We meet in small groups throughout the week, where we often share meals, we meet in the church weekly breaking bread together as an entire church ounce a month after our service, an occasion where friendships are strengthened. We share communion together as a church, and our goal is to preach and teach the apostolic doctrine which is the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, and let the Holy Spirit move in our lives, and in our worship services. We use our small groups for the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry, just as the early church did.
Choose a group that fits you, whether it be a small group Bible study, a community group, interest group, or a couples group. Be ready to grow with other people who love God and each other.
